The Port
Sotogrande is a beautiful harbour town to the west of Marbella and just before Gibraltar. This small farmland area in the municipality of San Roque has grown into one of Europe’s most discreet centers of luxury living, resembling a smaller version of Beverly Hills.
Sotogrande has one of the most glamorous harbours on the Costa del Sol. With the space for more than 500 vessels to dock, the harbour features a selection of excellent restaurants, vibrant tapas bars and elegant residences, ensuring a stylish and fun lifestyle.
One of the things we love most about the apartment is its location.
Step outside and you’re right in Sotogrande Port, surrounded by boats, palm trees, waterfront restaurants, cafés and shops. It’s a lovely place to wander in the morning, stop for lunch by the marina or head out for drinks and dinner in the evening.
THE APARTMENT
Welcome to our newly renovated two-bedroom property, perfectly situated in the heart of beautiful 'Puerto De Sotogrande'. The apartment is a 20 minute drive from Gibraltar and only an hour from Malaga!
Located on the first floor with lift access, the apartment has been completely renovated to create a fresh, stylish and comfortable home from home. With light-filled interiors, a lovely private terrace and everything you need for an easy, relaxing stay, it’s the perfect base for enjoying this very special part of southern Spain.
The apartment has two beautifully presented bedrooms and two ensuite bathrooms, making it ideal for couples, families or friends travelling together.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining space and a private terrace – perfect for a morning coffee, a leisurely lunch or a glass of wine at the end of the day.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT SOTO
There is so much to enjoy in and around Sotogrande, whether your idea of the perfect holiday involves long days on the beach, a round of golf, getting out on the water or simply finding a lovely spot for lunch and watching the world go by.
One of the best things about staying in the Port is having so much right on your doorstep.
BEACHES
Sotogrande is blessed with a beautiful stretch of Mediterranean coastline, with several beaches within very easy reach of the apartment.
Spend the day swimming and relaxing by the sea, stop for a long Spanish lunch at a chiringuito or head to one of Sotogrande’s beach clubs for a more luxurious day by the water.
Sotogrande Beach
The main beach at Sotogrande is perfect for an easy beach day and is conveniently located close to the Port.
Torreguadiaro Beach
Just beyond the marina, Torreguadiaro has a relaxed, local feel and is a lovely option for swimming, sunbathing and stopping for lunch or drinks.
Club Playa El Octógono
A long-established Sotogrande beach club and a great option for families wanting to spend a full day beside the sea.
Bunker Beach
A relaxed beachside restaurant and club on Playa de Guadalquitón. A lovely spot for lunch, drinks and a day by the Mediterranean.
The Beach at La Reserva
For something a little different, head up to La Reserva. Its beautiful man-made freshwater lagoon is surrounded by sandy beach, sun loungers and restaurant service. There are also watersports on the lagoon, making it particularly good fun for families.
gOLF, RESTAURANTS AND WATER SPORTS
Golf lovers are exceptionally well catered for in Sotogrande. Some of Spain and Europe’s most celebrated courses are only a short drive away.
Real Club de Golf Sotogrande
One of Sotogrande’s original courses, designed by Robert Trent Jones and opened in 1964. The beautiful course sits close to the Mediterranean and is surrounded by mature cork oaks, pines and eucalyptus trees.
Real Club Valderrama
One of the most famous names in European golf and host of the 1997 Ryder Cup. For serious golfers, playing at Valderrama is a very special experience.
La Reserva Club
A spectacular 18-hole championship course designed by Cabell B. Robinson, with wide fairways, large greens and wonderful views. There is also a golf academy for anyone wanting lessons or to improve their game.
There are several other excellent courses in the surrounding area, making Sotogrande a brilliant base for a golfing holiday.
Sailing, Boats & Watersports
With the marina just outside, getting out onto the water is one of the loveliest ways to experience Sotogrande.
Visitors can arrange sailing trips, yacht and boat charters, or spend an afternoon cruising along the coast. Depending on the operator and conditions, there are also opportunities for activities including paddleboarding, jet skis and other watersports.
For sailing and boat hire, there are several operators based directly in and around Sotogrande Marina, so it’s easy to arrange a morning or afternoon on the water.
For something more adventurous, watersports are also available at The Beach at La Reserva, where the protected freshwater lagoon makes a great place to try something new.
Eating & Drinking
One of our favourite things about staying in the Port is being able to walk out of the apartment and choose somewhere for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink overlooking the marina.
Some places to look out for include:
KE Sotogrande
Something of a Sotogrande institution and a great meeting place in the Port. Good for anything from coffee and breakfast to lunch, dinner or evening drinks.
Foodisiac
A stylish marina restaurant that’s particularly lovely for breakfast, brunch or a relaxed lunch.
Fresco Marina
A popular restaurant on Ribera del Marlin overlooking the marina – a lovely choice for a relaxed meal in the Port.
Don Diego
Located on Ribera del Marlin and a good option for an evening meal without having to venture far from the apartment.
Lokma
Another great marina option for dinner and drinks.
Margheri
A stylish choice for an evening meal in the marina.
There are plenty of other restaurants and bars to discover around the Port and nearby Torreguadiaro, so it’s worth exploring and finding your own favourites too.
Even if you don’t have any particular plans, the Marina itself is a lovely place to spend time.
Take a stroll along the waterfront, browse the boutiques and galleries, stop for coffee or lunch and watch the boats coming and going.
The Mercado de Levante is also well worth visiting. Its Sunday market brings together colourful stalls selling everything from clothes and food to antiques, while during the summer there are evening markets and family activities around the marina.
It’s all part of what makes Sotogrande such an easy place to holiday – you can do as much or as little as you like.
